“Raku” is Japanese for comfort, ease, enjoyment. These are simple little pots handmade and fired between 1750 and 1920 degrees in the American style of Raku using stoneware clay, glazes and a reduction atmosphere. Each piece is unique and reflects the tools, hand marks and fire used in its creation.
